Crime Alert - Burglary |

Dear Residents Humberside Police are investigating a report of a burglary on BYEWELL WALK, HU9 5LE. The incident occurred between 00:01hrs-10:00hrs on the following dates 02/05/2026-12/05/2026. The 'Suspect has approached the victims address and gained access to the back garden, suspect has then used a tool to grip the lock and try and twist it causing marks and have put a crow bar at the side of the door frame and tried to force it. Suspects have then made off after been unsuccessful. Suspect has returned to the rear of the property a few days later and tried to remove the sealant from the window at the left hand side of the door near the lock. Suspect has again been unsuccessful and has then made off. If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 26*64213.

You are also advised to register property at www.immobilise.com which is a free on-line property register used by police forces nationwide to reunite stolen goods to their owners. All you have to do is register on-line and then upload properties electrical items serial numbers. If you have a burglar alarm ensure it is set and working.
